Where is THE RIVER located?
We are located at 224 Stewarts Ferry Pike, Nashville, TN. 37214. Take exit 219 off of interstate 40 and go North on Stewarts Ferry Pike toward Lebanon Rd. The church is on the Left.
How many attend THE RIVER?
There are presently 700-800 people in total attendance on Sunday mornings. That equals a little over 300 per service. About 250-300 people attend the Wednesday evening services. All numbers include youth and children.
Do I need to dress up to fit in at THE RIVER?
THE RIVER has a “come as you are” atmosphere. You will see some people dressed up; some who are dressed casual. We have no expectations for attire.
What happens in case of extreme weather conditions?
Check our website, call the church office at 883-6506, or check the local news regarding any schedule changes or closings. You will also receive an email from the church if you are on the email list.
What should I expect when I visit THE RIVER?
Expect to experience God’s love demonstrated in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Meet Pastoral Team Members on your very first visit if you choose to. Not only will you get to personally greet Pastors, you will also receive a small gift as our way of saying, “Thank You.”
Expect a vibrant worship atmosphere charged with the presence of God. The Band and worship singers serve as ushers as they lead us into the worship experience.
Expect to hear a relevant life lesson from God’s Word. Easy to understand and apply messages charged with the anointing of God’s Holy Spirit will enlighten and encourage you to find and fulfill your God given destiny. You will be strengthened and transformed by the power of the Gospel of Christ.
What ministry is offered for me and/or my family?
In addition to the Worship and Word experience on Sundays and Wednesdays, we also offer demographic ministries for all age groups. Nursery is provided every service, as well as Children’s Church up through age 12. Teens have their own service on Wednesdays and are active participants and servants during the Sunday morning services. We offer young adult ministries, Men and Women focused ministries, Life Groups, Spiritual Growth classes, Seniors, Recovery, Couples, and many other ministries.
